- Park Brk … ON
- Loudspeaker Volume Knob … OFF (Both Sides)
- ACP INT/RAD Sw … Set to INT (Both Sides)
- Interphone Vol. Rcption Knob … Release (Both Sides)
2nd:
- CVR Test Pb … Press & Maintain
(Successful when an Audio Test Signal is Heard through
the Loudspeakers when the CVR Test Pb is Pressed
and Maintained)
32- What to do if during the CVR Test of the RCDR the Crew Cannot Hear the Audio Test Signal through the Loudspeakers?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P2
If the CVR Maintenance Headset (22RK Headset) is available, the Flight Crew can Perform the CVR TEST through it.
33- When a Complete IRS Alignment must be Performed?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P3
PRO-SUP-34 P6
A Complete IRS Alignment is Required:
‐ Before the First Flight of the Day
‐ At Crew Change
‐ When the GPS is Not Available with:
* Poor NAVAIDS Coverage is Poor on the Expected Rte
OR
* Expected Flight Time > 3H.
34- When a Fast IRS Alignment must be Performed?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P3
PRO-SUP-34 P6
A Fast IRS Alignment is Required:
- When the deviation of the IRS position from the
FMGC Position is ≥ 5 NM.
35- What Happen on B-HSD, B-HSE, B-HSG, B-HTF if the EXIT or NO-SMOKING Selector is Left to ON?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P3
On those A/C, it will prevent:
- The Emergency Batteries to be Charged.
36- What Happen if the CIDS is Programmed for a Non-Smoking Flight?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P3
When the CIDS is Programmed for a Non-Smoking Flight:
- NO SMOKING Signs are Permanently ON, with the
EXIT Sw or NO SMOKING Sw at AUTO
(With Permanent Charge of Emergency Batteries).
37- What is the Difference between A320 and A321 with the PACK FLOW Selector during Pre-Flight?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P4/5
PACK Flow LO: If the Number of Pax is < 115 (A320)
ECON Flow ON: If the Number of Pax is < 140 (A321).
38- Related to the PACKS on B-HSG & B-HSI,
What may causes a Surging Type Noise?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P4
- In Flight, with PACK FLOW to “LO”, the Air Flow from the
Air Conditioning System may Fluctuate, which may causes
a Surging Type Noise
- To Stop the Fluctuations, Set the PACK FLOW to NORM.
39- What is the Difference for the Pack Controllers between A320 and A321 if the APU is Supplying the Bleed Air System?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P5
- On A320:
Pack Controllers select HI Flow Automatically,
Independently of the Selector Position
- On A321:
Pack Controllers select 120 % of the Normal Flow
Automatically, Independently of the Pb Position.
40- During the Battery Check what is the Charging Level (in Amps) required?
What to do if Not Obtained?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P5
- 10s After setting all BAT Pb-Sw ON:
Check on the ELEC SD page that the Current Charge of
the Battery is Below 60 A, and is Decreasing
- If at least One Battery is Not Below 60 A:
Wait until the End of the Charging Cycle of the Batteries
(20 Min) and Perform this Check Again.
41- What is the Risk associated to FUEL MODE SEL Pb-Sw in MAN Position for A320?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P6
If the FUEL MODE SEL in MAN position on Ground
and the CTR TK PUMP 1/2 Pb are ON
(MAN illuminated ‘Alone’ on the Fuel Pb Line):
- There is a Possibility of Fuel Spillage
* If there is any Hidden Failure.
42- What is the Risk associated to FUEL MODE SEL Pb-Sw in MAN Position for A321?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P6
If the FUEL MODE SEL in MAN position on Ground
and the CTR TK L/R XFR PUMP Pb are ON
(MAN illuminated ‘Alone’ on the Fuel Pb Line):
- There is a Possibility of Fuel Spillage
* In this configuration, the Centre Tank Pumps will
Not Stop Transferring Fuel when the Wing Tanks
become Full.
43- What should be the configuration of the Third Occupant Audio Control Panel?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P7
PA Knob … RECEPT, everything else OFF.
44- What is NOT recommended for the ISIS Setup?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P7
DSC-34-25
Use of the ISIS Bugs Function is NOT Recommended
Refer to:
DSC-34-25
(Bugs Function).
45- What is NOT Allowed with the ACP during Refuelling?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P8
DO NOT Transmit on HF during Refuelling.
46- Why ATC and TCAS are on Standby during Cockpit Prep?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P9
ATC and TCAS are on Standby to Prevent possible Interference to Radar Surveillance Systems.
47- What’s the relation between EMER ELEC CONF and RVSM?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P9
For RVSM Operations:
- SYS 1 is Selected if AP 1 is Used
- SYS 2 is Selected if AP 2 is Used
Only SYS 1 is Available, in EMER ELEC Configuration.
48- In EMER ELEC CONF what will be the VHF Avlb?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P9
Only VHF 1 is Available in EMER ELEC Configuration.
49- What is to be Checked on the Status Page of the MCDU (DATA Key)?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P10
- Engine & Aircraft Type
- FM Database Validity
50- During FMGS Initialisation, What Actions are Required for the IRS POSITION CHECK?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P11
On the POSITION MONITOR page, check that:
- ALL IRS are in NAV mode
- The distances between IRS and FMS positions are < 5 NM
On ND in ROSE-NAV or ARC Mode check that:
- The Aircraft Position is consistent with the Position of the
Airport, the SID and the Surrounding NAVAIDs.
51- How the Characteristic Speeds displayed on the MCDU (Green Dot, F, S, VLS) are Calculated?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P13
- They are Computed from the ZFW and ZFWCG entered by the Crew on the MCDU
* If ZFW, ZFWCG, and BLOCK FUEL are inserted, the FM
will provide All Predictions, as well as the EXTRA Fuel.
52- Why shall we enter the ZFW in INIT B before the RTOW?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P13
For the RTOW Calculator to Perform an Automatic
Gross Error Check on the Entered Weights.
53- What are the Initial Elements to X-Check when Filling the ACARS?
PRO-NOR-SOP-06 P15
