Class 8XXs if you isolate one bogie, then the other bogie on the same vehicle must be isolated because this is to level the vehicle.

if the air suspension on Bogie 2 on a DPT vehicle is isolated, so will the sanding equipment on that vehicle. be isolated in addition.

A

60 MPH with no competent person, 40 MPH during poor visibility with or without competent person. Normal speed with a competent person.

What is the speed if the DSD becomes defective?

A

If the AWS/TPWS is operative the train can proceed at 60 MPH without a competent person, with a competent person, its line speed.

If the DSD, AWS/TPWS are defective the train must NOT MOVE until a competent person is provided and when this occurs then the 40 MPH restrictive speed applies. - rule change to the rssb rule book and this last part of the answer needs checked and re written.
