A

A

Hazard lights on, REC to signaller, protect lines if necessary, make sure both portions of the train are secure, and all vehicles are accounted for. check couplings to see if they caused damage to infrastructure and to also see if it can be reattached.

If the portions can not be recoupled, what actions must you take?

A

place 3 detonators 300 meters on each side of the rear portion, place a tail lamp on the rear of the front portion on a TCB line. must inform the signaller the rear portion can not be coupled and is being left, give exact location.

What must you do when passengers are self evacuating?

A

You must tell the signaller that an uncontrolled evacuation is taking place and to provide immediate signal protection. If you can not contact the signaller or they can not provide protection you must carry out emergency protection.
