Sx: harsh voice, hypernasal, bursts of loudness, hyperactive jaw jerk, gag reflex

Sx: Low volume, breathy or harsh, hypernasal, nasal emission, fasciulations

Sx: Strained, harsh voice, hypernasal, rapid, involuntary motions

A
Lesion: Basal ganglia- parkinson’s, wilsons
Sx: low volume, hoarseness, monotone, difficulty initiating

Ataxic Dysarthria
A
Lesion: cerebellar- stroke, EtOH tox
Sx: Harsh, loud, effortful, explosive, inaccurate
