Autonomic dysreflexia

A

Noxious stimuli below level of spinal lesion causes response- vasodilation above injury and constriction below.
Can cause severely elevated blood pressure, underlying cause must be treated

  4. Resp: decreased pulmonary function
  5. GI: decreased appetite
