high intraocular pressure compressing the lens puts pressure on retina leading to damage of optic nerve.

colour blindness
genetic defect.
sex linked. more common in males
absense of red or green most common
myopic
near sighted
hyperopic
far sighted
astigmatism
irregularities int he surface of the cornea
