  • Generally low birth rate 10.45
  • Underpopulation
  • Climate is dry and cold –> can drop to - 40 cel in winter
  • Permafrost in Northern regions –> bad for agri
  • Terrain is mountainy so its hard to access and transport things. Dense forests and costs to cut down trees
