Why are you passionate about technology?

A
  • Adopting technology is something I always strive to do, as there are not many aspects of life which it can’t improve.
  • For example, something as simple as waking up in the morning can be made easier with a sleep monitoring app.
  • I find that utilising technology is one of the most effective ways to solve complex problems.
  • I embraced technology during my degree by writing a MATLAB program to model and optimise the performance of a turbofan engine.
  • I also worked as part of a team designing the Leeds Formula Student Race Car and used technology to computationally model my exhaust design in GT Power.
  • I found that applying my logic to build up a computational model, and then analyse the data, was one of the most stimulating parts of this project.
  • Finally, I have had also the chance to combine my passion for technology with my excellent communication skills at Midland Computer Services. In this customer support role I helped customers troubleshoot their issues on a daily basis.
