What is socialisation
A
Socialisation is the process of learning acceptable norms and values for a particular society. It is a continuing process whereby an individual acquires a personal identity and learns the behaviours and social skills required for life situations.

Primary socialisation
A
Parsons wrote about primary socialisation. This is the first stage of socialisation. It is when a child learns the basic norms, behaviours and values such as walking, talking, basic language etc.
The agent of socialisations main agent is the parents or the family

At the secondary stage the agents include teachers, peers, media, religion and the government.
