A

It increased as absenteeism was increasing as some were not convinced with the party’s ideas. Those who weren’t cooperative were threatened with become slaves for the prestige projects such as the White Sea Canal

A

It meant that people were less likely to try to fix it, and they usually couldn’t afford the paint, tools or materials needed to fix the house. Overcrowding was a common issue
