CardioVascular Fitness
Ability to exercise your whole body for long periods of time
Marathon runner - needs to be able to run constantly for a long periods of time
Muscular Strength
The amount of force a muscle can exert against a force
Weightlifters need this as they pick up alot of weight in one big movement
Muscular endurance
The ability to use voluntary muscles repeatedly without getting tired
A tennis player would need this attribute as they are constantly to run from side to side and hit shots back and forth
Flexibility
The range of motion in your joints
A gymnast will need flexibility in order to perform complex flips and landings such as cartwheels or splits etc
Body composition
The percentage of body weight that is muscle, fat or bone
A prop in a rugby match would need more muscle or fat than a fly half so that they can exert a big force in a scrum
