The ability to exercise your whole body for a long period of time
What sports require cardiovascular fitness?
Marathons, cross country, long distance track
Muscular strength
The amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance
What sports require muscular strength?
Rugby, weightlifting
Muscular endurance
The ability to use voluntary muscles repeatedly without getting tired
Flexability
The range of motion at your joint
How will being flexible improve my performance
It will make you less prone to injury
Body composition
The percentage of the body weight that is muscle, fat or bone
How do you work out your BMI (Body Mass Index)
For example
-weight = 60kg
-height = 1.65m
-height squared = 2.72m
= 60/2.72 = 22
