The percentage of body weight that is muscle, fat or bone
Why is it important to have a healthy BMI ( Body composition, Body mass index )
This is so you dont have too much fat so your weight is increased and it will lower your chances at getting diseases
How do you calculate your body mass index? ( BMI )
Your weight in kg divided by your height in m squared
Weight = 60kg
Height = 1.65m
Height squared = 2.72 m squared
60/2.72 = 22
In order of relevance, what is the components of fitness that are most important to Rashford?
- Cardiovascular fitness - to be able to be able to run around the pitch at a good speed for 90 mins
- Muscular endurance - to make sure he can use his muscles for 90 mins of time without getting tired
- Body composition - to have a healthy balance of muscle and fat
- Flexibility - to make sure he can execute his skills, passing and shooting the best he can
- Muscular strength - to be able to compete with a defender using his muscles
