  1. The skeleton frames/ shapes the body and supports all parts of the body.
  2. The skeleton protects the vital organs of the body
  3. The skeleton provides movement to the body through the bone connection and attachments of each bone
  4. The skeleton includes bone marrow which creates blood cells for the body
  5. Throughout the bone marrow, there is the storage of essential minerals such as calcium and phosphorous.
