What is the management?
McRoberts manoeuvre
- bring thighs to abdomen to increase angle of pelvis and aid delivery
Rubin
- apply pressure on accessible shoulder and push to chest
Wood Screw
-Rotate the posterior shoulder to release anterior shoulder
Gaskin
- put mum on all 4s
Epsiotomy- to help access
What are complications?
Baby
- brachial plexus injury (Erbs palsy)
-Fractures
- Hypoxia or death
Mother
- PPH
- tears
- uterine rupture
