what safety measures need to be taken when using power and machine tools

A
  • do a visual check check for any loose connection, run your hand along the lead to check for any cuts in the insulation
  • you can an RCD to help prevent electric shocks
  • wear a mask or fit an extraction hose if the tools gonna produce a lot of dust
  • wear safety glasses
  • clamp your work down firmly so it can’t slip or move
  • make sure u know where the stop buttons are before you start
  • make sure the tool has stopped moving before u put it down

A
