Q

How do we make an Eruv? 2 things

A
  1. create a “sahpe of an entrance”, two poles capped by a beam or cord which are considered a partition.
  2. Bread which was acquired on behalf of the citizens is kept in someone’s home. By making an eruv catzeros, residents are cnsidred joint owners of the entire city, so carrying within it becomes permitted.
