for example teacher belibed child was a trouble maker and would become criminal when older will become one because of expectations

strength- JACOBSON- teachers told sstart school year some pupils were ‘about to bloom’ and do well, at the end of the year IQ tests done and thoes with labels of bloomers had an increased IQ score compared to others, teachers helped them more, pushed them more, became more confident in selfs due to label.

weakness- unethical cant repeat to test for consistency although lots of supporing evidence forming same conclusions

strngth- decieved- no DC’s

weakness- correlational no C+E could be due to other factors such as personality.
