Concerns?
You are concerned that you may have picked up a sexually transmitted infection inside your bottom when you last had sex 10 days ago having looked up your symptoms on the internet. This has also made you slightly concerned it could be cancer but you also know its very uncommon in your age group. You cannot remember the names of what the infections could be and you are worried that they may not be curable You would like to know which infections it might be and can they be cured. You do not need to find out about the actual treatments as the student is not being marked on this – just whether there are effective treatments available (which there are). You are not worried about catching HIV as you are on PrEP and have not missed any tablets.
By 8 minutes you should have expressed the following concerns to the candidate:
“Do you think I could have an infection inside my bottom – what do you think it could be?”
