Opening remark
I’d like to discuss a text I got from the practise about changing my inhaler
How are you doing with your asthma? (4)
- Good
- No symptoms with Fostair
- Chest infections take a long time to get better
- Normally get a chest infection most winters
What do you know about greenhouse gases? (2)
- Carbon Dioxide from fossil fuels clogging up the atmosphere and causing global warming
- Worry about the next generation
Concerns over switching to a different inhaler? (4)
- Fostair works really well
- Will it stop an attack if I can’t breathe?
- Is this just a cost-saving venture?
- Puffers are so small - is this really going to make much of a difference?
Do you find the current inhaler convenient? (2)
- No really as it’s large and bulky
- Never sure when it’s going to run out
Can you breathe quickly and hold your breath for 10 seconds (2)
- Yes, don’t think that’s a problem.
- Unless I get a chest infection
Do you recycle your spent inhalers?
No, straight in the bin
Do you want to make the switch?
If it really safer for the environment I’d like to have a go
Living situation (2)
- live alone
- long term partner
