- Nurse took my blood pressure
- Said it was far too high
- Told me to come and see you immediately (fortunately day off)

Symptoms (2)
- No Symptoms
- Say no to all enquiries about headaches, shortness of breath etc

- High blood pressure for about 5 years
- GP started me on medication, and then added a second one a couple of years ago
- SUPPOSED to be taking pills

10mg ramipril - one a day
5mg amlodipine - one a day

- Haven’t taken pills today
- Only take them when I remember
- A couple of times a week
- Be embarrassed to admit this

- Nothing prescribed
- Take Piriton for hay fever
- No other allergies

- I think I’m generally fit and well
- No medical problems (except the high blood pressure!!!)
- Told I had pre-diabetes two years ago
- Think I need a repeat blood test for this, but keep forgetting to book
- Cholesterol fine
- No operations

- But he was a heavy smoker - 20/day

- Live at home with partner
- They’ve been nagging me to come for a while
