the sense organs that allow you to see. They take in information about the world- shapes, colors, distances, brightness, and more.
eyes
the transparent gel that gives the eye its shape.
VITREOUS HUMOR
makes the fluid inside the eye. It also enables the lens of the eye to focus on objects at various distances.
CILIARY BODY
a clear part that receives the light that enters the eye. It then bounces off this light to the back of the eye.
LENS
The colored part in front of the eye. It helps screen and control the amount of light that enters the eye.
IRIS
the transparent film- like part that enables the eye to focus on images so they do not look blurred.
CORNEA
the white part of the eye. It is made of a tough material that protects the inside of the eye
SCLERA
The middle layer of the wall of the eye. It is filled with blood vessels that bring oxygen and nutrients to the eye.
CHOROID
Receives the light from the lens. It is made up of rods and cones. The rods let the eyes sense light while the cones help identify color.
RETINA
transmits electrical impulses or nerve messages from the eye to the brain.
OPTIC NERVE
Are paired organs, located on each side of your head, which help with hearing and balance.

Inner Ear
develops when bacteria and viruses become trapped in your middle ear. This type of infection is more likely to affect children than adults
Ear Infection (otitis media)
Getting water in your ear can cause this condition. Can also occur if you get hair spray or other irritants inside of your ear canal.
Swimmer’s ear (otitis externa)
Infection, trauma, loud sounds or foreign objects in your ears can cause a ruptured eardrum. In most cases it will heal on its own in a few weeks
Ruptured eardrum
occurs when the skin of your outer ear becomes infected. This condition is usually the result of injury or trauma, such as piercings, contact 26 2 sports or ear surgery.
Perichondritis
Cuts, fractures and blunt force trauma can cause ear injury. If damage is severe, surgery may be necessary to address the problem
Ear Injury
May be benign or malignant.. Noncancerous ear tumors usually require surgical removal.
Ear Tumor
The sense organ that allows you to breathe and smell.

a muscular organ in the mouth that is involved in tasting, chewing, swallowing, and speaking.
Tongue
