general inspection minimal movement hidden wounds palpate for pain or tenderness along the thoracic and lumbar vererbrae collection of fluid or blood blood on clothes

accessory muscle use reccession nasal flaring RR spo2
what is venous engorgement
raised jugular pressure
what is laryngeal crepitis
damage to the laranyx (vocal cords)
new onset of horsness or pain when talking
what is surgical emphysema
bubbling on the skin (little pocket of air)
what is tracheal deviation as sign of
collapsed lung or bleeding leads to pushing organs to the side
what does the acronym TWELVE stand for
T-tracheal deviation W- Wound, Bruising or swelling E- Surgical emphysma L- laryngeal Crepitis V- venous engorgement E- exclude- pneumothorax, fail segment, haemothorax
