Girls: screened twice between ages 10-12

Enlongate the concave side (the short side) and strengthen the convex side (long side)

Decreased teh curve progression , reduce pain , increased vital capacity and improve posture and appearance
When is orthotic intervention typically referred for a pateint with scoliosis ( at what degree of scoliosis curve)
Over 20°, usually 25-40°
