Q

What was NEP?

A
  • Peasants could give fixed amount of grain to the Government
  • More food production = less tax
  • Factories with less than 20 workers - denationalised
  • money could be used again: New Rouble introduced
  • Key industries could restate control.

Some thought this was going in the wrong direction for communism, infact more towards capitalism.
