No JFS start within 8 sec (electric motor overheat): allow to cool 5 mins

JFS starts but no engine start, JFS operational for;
Less than 60s - 2 mins cool
60-90s - 5 mins cool
Over 90s - 1 hr cool… don’t try for over 90s!!

Check limits for subsequent starts.

43

A

-Total contents should not be less than 7.5L
-Must be on oxygen above CABALT 8k
-Intentional operation above CABALT 10kft prohibited.
-“normal” mixture insufficient above CABALT 12k (use 100%)
-Descend at least below CABALT 18kft to avoid decompression sickness and hypoxia.
-Demist requirements will reduce time by up to a factor of 2.5

Really? Could fly depressurised at 10,000ft with selector on “Normal” if required or just descend 8,000ft and come off oxygen

45
Q

Window heat

A

Flight without window heat prohibited (we don’t test it though?)

Window heat off if window open…

46
