They are recognised as the first philosopher of the western world
What was special about how the Presocratics answered questions?
They sought answers to physical questions and based their answers on reason
What did Thales claim about what everything depended on or even was?
Thales claimed that everything depended on/ was made of water e.g. Humans need water to survive, plants need water to grow and survive.

Zeno was famous for his paradox of motion. Which is more commonly known as the achilles and the turtle.

He claimed that there was only one Gd which shared no attributes or resemblances to humans. This was profounding as during his time people believed in many Gds

What was his famous quote?
Claimed that the world is ever changing and was never the same. His famous quote is ‘ No man steps in the same river twice, for it is not the same river and he is not the same man.’
