- possible role of Demodex

A
Perivascular and perifollicular lymphohistiocytic infiltrate
- vascular ectasia
- mild edema
- sebaceous hyperplasia

What percent of rosacea patients have ocular symptoms? Tx?
A

- symptoms of dryness/foreign body sensation, photosensitivity, burning/stinging
- Tx with doxycycline

solid facial edema in rosacea patients, tx with isotretinoin

A
- discrete yellow/brown-red firm papules of nodules on background of erythema
- Tx with Doxy or isotret

Lupus miliaris disseminatus faciei presents as?

- yellow- brown to red monomorphous papules on the face (similar to granulomatous rosacea) with lower eyelid involvement
