How should replanted teeth be managed?

A

Splinted for 7- 10 days
If closed apex:
-> Commence endodontic treatment asap. If patient compliant, carry out pulppotomy annd place ledermix into canals.
-> CaOH after about 7-10 days (early placement can damage periodontal cells and impair healing)
If open apex:
-> wait for revascularisation

How does ledermix control inflammatory root resorption?

A

May inactivate dentinoclasts
Can be used to treat extrenal inflammatory rooot resorption.
Basically treat for 3 months using Ledermix changing every 6 weeks
