Role of all systems Flashcards
Give the process of the soluble nutrients into the capillary
The stomach goes to the process of digestions which has soluble nutrients. The soluble nutrients travel to the small intestine where absorption occurs. The absorption leads to diffusion which leads to the glucose diffusing into the capillaries
What does the pulmonary vein transport?
Transport oxygenated blood and glucose to the heart
What is a product of cellular respiration?
Corbin dioxide
In terms of respiration what does blood have?
Blood only has glucose not all of the requirements
What does the digestive system convert insoluble carbohydrates into?
Soluble glucose
What is glucose a requirement of?
Respiration
How do blood vessels get glucose into the cells?
Blood vessel is carries the glucose into the cells which creates cellular respiration
Oxygen is inhaled by the lungs during breathing where does this oxygen go?
The oxygen defuses into the blood stream
Once oxygen is in the bloodstream what happens?
Oxygenated blood returns to the heart
What does the heart do with this oxygenated blood?
Heart pumps oxygenated blood to the rest of the body
What happens to the oxygenated blood once it is being pumped to the rest of the body?
Oxygen defuses from the bloodstream into the body cells
What defuses from the body cells into the blood stream?
Common dioxide defuses from the body cells into the blood stream
Where does the deoxygenated blood now go?
Deoxygenated blood is transported to the heart
What is the heart do with this deoxygenated blood?
The heart pumps the deoxygenated blood to the lungs
What happens to the deoxygenated blood once it is in the lungs?
Carbon dioxide defuses out of the bloodstream into the lungs
