Inspector wants people to be responsible for each other in contrast mr and mrs b are only interested in finding out who is responsible for the scandal that going to emerge.To them responsibility is individual blame than collective good.

MR B-thinks community responsibility is "nonsense" the interest of business are more important then workers right that's why he says "for lower cost and higher prices" MRS B-they have no reasonability in the working class and her prejudices are ingrained they cant be changed

SHEILA-getting Eva/Daisy sacked out of spite was irresponsible but she didn’t do anything at the time inspector challenged her to change her behaviour
