literal meaning-magic and sorcery this is modified by the adjective powerful are the soldiers brainwashed

Adjective-satisfy a desire but it doesn’t satisfy the pilot needs but the pilot desire to die
awful connotations of there being enough fuel to honour Japan but not enough to return safely
