Ephedra sinica

A

Alpha-agonist, bronchodilator, anti-jussive, anti-allergies.

Use in allergies, asthma, and for weight loss.

Acts like adderall with similar side effects. Don’t combine with alpha or beta blockers or agonists. Don’t use in anyone with HTN, MI, stroke risk, hyperthyroidism, DM, BPH, glaucoma, anorexia, pregnancy, long-term use, steroids, TCAs

Eucalyptus globulus

A

Anti-spasm, anti-microbial and expectorant.

Can use topically or internally/inhaled for URIs, aches and pains. Bug repellant.

Eucalyptus branches hang LOW to the ground: don’t use in anyone with anything LOW; low BP, low blood sugar, low kidney function.

A

Acts like nicotine! CNS stimulation then respiratory depression.

Use in coughs asthma, URI.

Side effects including vomiting, tachycardia, respiratory depression and death.

Can bring on labor when put on cervical os. Don’t use in people with heart disease or DRY COUGH.
