acute otitis media, sinusitis, penumonia in non-encapsulated/nontypeable strains
In addition to bacteremia, cellulitis, epiglotitis
meningitis in type b strains

Treatment/Vaccinations
A
Penicillin, ampicillin
cephalosporins if penicillin resistant
type b conjugate vaccine for children
