highly contagious through person to person spread

Diseases/Symptoms
A
catarrhal stage, then paroxysmal stage, then convalescent stage (100-day cough)
complications with infants with high morbidity and mortality

Erythromycin or other macrolides
prohpylaxis for close contacts with infected
