What does self report mean?
It’s an overarching term for any method that the participant gives info about themselves
What three reports are considered for self reports?

What are the samples like in surveys and questionnaires?
The researcher tries to pick a large and representative sample
What 3 requirements must be met when using a questionnaire?
-Use open and closed questions
-Allow for a don’t know/neutral answer where appropriate
-Pilot test it first
What is the difference in definition of surveys and questionnaires?
Surveys-The evaluation of experiences or opinions of a group
Questionnaires-A collection of written or printed questions with a set answer choice
