Tips about writing style
- Reports are usually written using the third person in the passive voice.
- Reports are written in the past tense.
- The report should be written keeping in mind that the reader is unfamiliar with the investigation, but should also be written in such a way that they could replicate it.
Title
- This should provide a clear indication of the focus of the study.
- It should not be too general or complicated, neither too long nor short.

- a list of all the study’s sources which were quoted or referred to it (in the report) (e.g. journal articles, websites, books etc.) with full details being given (so that a reader is able to find the exact source the researcher is referencing)

in the order: author, date, title of book (in italics or underlined), place of publication, publisher
