Why would someone with Crohn’s not be suitable for peritoneal dialysis?
Their Crohn’s disease would make the insertion of the peritoneal dialysis catheter dangerous and it would be dangerous to infuse and drain the fluid - because bowel already very inflamed
When is renal replacement therapy usually started?
Usually started when GFR <10 ml/minute or when GFR <15ml/minute if they are diabetic

Seminoma - semiNOT raised
