Greed leads you away from god and it also leads to sin/immoral behavior

1) you should give away everything in order to follow Jesus teachings
2) a person can be rich as long as they don’t let material wealth to come between them and their love of god and his teachings to help the poor

This means Christians would not put their desires to be rich before carrying out the wishes of God to look after the poor, as it could be seen as evil
