1) many Christians believe that men and women should have equal rights and roles in life

1) “let us make man in our image”- men and woman were created at the same time so should have same roles and rights
2) Jesus rose from the dead he appeared 1st to Mary Magdalene
3) “men and woman are equally valuable”
4) in the first days of early church, with worship together with the disciples
Give a quote and meaning that supports the Christian view then and women have different roles
“Women should remain silent in the churches… if they want to ask something they should speak to their husbands”
-this means that some Christians would not want women to be priests however this might not work because of the quote “Love my neighbour as you love yourself “– this means you should treat everyone equally regardless of gender
