2
Q

How is inter observer reliability carried out?

A

1-two observer who are trained and told how to use behavior categories
2-conduct observation separately and observe the same behavior for same time and independently record there results
3-tallies of observers is compared
4-made into correlation with correct stats
5-strong correlation of 0.8+ shows high reliability

5
Q

Explain how to carry out test retest.

A

1-ppt given a interview or questionnaire to complete
2-same questions asked after a time delay
3-compare on a scattergraph and then correlate the questionnaire or interview
-a strong positive correlation of 0.8+ shows a positive correlation

Q

Explain the general test retest.

A

1-ppt given task to complete
2-ask to do same task after a time delay
3-correlate results with appropriate statistical test
