Q
What is the relationship between the Cardiovascular and Urinary systems?
A
- The cardiovascular and Urinary system work together to maintain homeostasis in the body.
- The cardiovascular system transports blood to the kidneys so that they can filter it.
- The urinary system excretes waste and helps to regulate blood pressure by controlling the volume of blood.
- In turn, the kidneys produce a hormone call erythropoietin that stimulates the production of new red blood cells in the cardiovascular system.
