The reformation lessened the power of the Roman Catholic Church and allowed the countries to rise in power. It also made the king more powerful then pope. The vernacular church/bible translated. More individual rights for the people they had the right to move to change their religion, schools were established, Geneva-John Calvin Puritans-Boston-Harvard, No more sacred/secular dichotomy
