posterior cutaneous nerve of arm
it crosses the elbow
anterior to the lateral epicondyle
it immediately supplies:
Brachioradialis
extensor carpi radialis longus
extensor carpi radialis brevis
supinator
and then branches into:
Superficial Branch and the Deep Radial Branch
The Superficial Branch is only:
Sensory to skin only
this branch runs
under brachioradialis and adjacent to the radial artery
it enters the wrist by
passing over the anatomical snuff box
the Superficial Branch of the Radial supplies the:
skin of the dorsal-lateral palm
small strip of the skin on the palmer side
dorsum of the thumb and 2 lateral fingers (minus the tips)
the Deep Branch emerges from
under the heads of the supinator
the Deep Branch supplies the
remaining extensors of the forearm
