QUIZ: Jesus A Savior? The Proof Is In The Pudding Flashcards
CARD 1:
What does the Bible say about homosexuals?
Genesis 19:1-11. That evening two angels came to the entrance of the city of Sodom. …. Verse 24, Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of Heaven.
Leviticus 20:13. If a man practices homosexuality both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for the are guilty of a capital offense.
I was brought up that God was all knowing. He knows past, present and future. Also I was to believe that God is the same yesterday, tomorrow and forever.
So here is the BIG problem. Why was this a horrible sin from the beginning of time to today and forever nullified in 2022 by Pope Francis?
After 6,000 years of it being a horrible sin, punished by death, suddenly the Pope makes it acceptable?
How can a human being trump what God said 6,000 years ago?
Do you see my point? Religion just makes stuff up out of thin air!
If Hell was real and the people of Sodom and Gomorrah are there burning for at least 6,000 years. How do you think they feel about this?
CARD 2:
What is Midrash?
Much of the Bible is written from what is called a Midrash.
A midrash is a writing style like a metaphor or allegory. The Bible is full of metaphors and allegories.
The New Testament is written using events that happened in the Old Testament to make it seem more real. It isn’t a factual event. It doesn’t matter whether it is fact or fiction. What matters is the author wants to stress that what happened in the Old Testament was actually (but not really) a prophecy that became fulfilled in the New Testament. This gives the illusion that the Bible is true.
A couple of examples:
In OT Leviticus 16:10 They bring two goats to be sacrificed. One goat is sacrificed and the other goat has blood and all the sins of the people placed upon it. Then it is released.
So one goat is murdered while the other goat (the scapegoat) is freed!
This is a example of Midrash in the NT where Pilate asked the people who should be set free, Barabbas or Jesus?
Barabbas goes free while Jesus is murdered.
Second example:
Apollo. A God so mighty America named all of their moon missions after him. So since Apollo was King of the Gods, the NT authors had to make Jesus seem all powerful.
Apollo Wears a crown with points projecting all around it. Matter of fact, look at the crown on the statue of liberty and you will see Apollo’s crown with all the points around the circumference.
The NT authors wanted to show Jesus as the most powerful God, so they used Midrash to make up the story of the crown of thorns placed upon the head of Jesus.
CARD 3:
How can Jesus be the salvation plan if the Bible says there are FIVE different salvation plans?
People are taught that God is all knowing and infallible. So if he is indeed infallible, why does he switch the salvation plans FIVE times?
- First 4,000 years, the Old Testament salvation is commandment laws and sacrifices. Then it changes to ….
- MARK 60 years after birth of Jesus. Death of Jesus paid the price of Salvation. Jesus is Jewish Rabbi and NOT DIVINE.
- Luke 70 years after birth of Jesus. Forgiveness that comes from repentance paid the price of Salvation. Jesus is Jewish Rabbi and NOT DIVINE.
- Matthew 70 years after birth of Jesus. Keeping Jewish law pays the price of Salvation. Jesus is Jewish Rabbi and NOT DIVINE.
- John 95 years after birth of Jesus. Jesus is declared DIVINE. You must be born again! Death of son of God pays the price for salvation. Jesus is DIVINE and Christianity is invented!
Reference for these facts are from professor Bart D. Ehrman, recognized as the highest authority on the New Testament worldwide by the top Bible scholars.
The apocalypse was in vogue 150 years before the birth of Jesus. Jesus was an apocalyptic missionary Rabbi in the synoptic gospels then suddenly he was the Divine sacrifice for all mankind. This “NEW” plan was a copy and paste plagiarism from the ancient pagan religions, starting with the world’s very first savior, “Hercules”, who was a God’s son, sacrificed to save mankind for all time. After Hercules, saviors came and went and were considered a dime a dozen.
Note: More details about salvation plans of God are in theology said and done before in the God obsession salvation plans ever changing deck.
The very first savior for all the world is invented, and his name is Hercules. No more sacrifices are necessary because Hercules (later Jesus and dozens of others)paid the price for our sinful nature. The goddes Estore (Easteria) dies and visits hades (another Greek god name, referred to as the abode of the departed in the Bible) for three days then suddenly appears back on earth. This story was synthesized into Jesus dying and being in hades for three days in the EIGHTH century. Also, the day of Jesus’s death was decided in the EIGHTH century, as it was tied into the popular story of Estore SP coming back from the dead .
CARD 4:
Why did Jesus never come back like he promised?
Jesus promised 6 or 7 times which one? he would return before all of his disciples died and before the current high priest died.
List chapter and verse.
Then explain why a no show. Including Revelations apocalyptic world ending.
