Q
  1. We have become convinced that the story of Jesus is not the bio of a historical Messiah, but a myth based on Pagan stories. Christianity was not new and unique but actually a Jewish adaptation of the ancient Pagan Mystery religion. This is what we have called The Jesus Mysteries.
  • For 2,000 years the West has been dominated by the idea that Christianity is sacred and unique while Paganism is primitive and the work of the Devil. To even consider that they could be parts of the same tradition has been simply unthinkable.
  • At the heart of the Mysteries were myths concerning a dying and resurrecting godman, who was known by many different names. In Egypt he was Osiris, in Greece, Dionysus, in Asia Minor, Attis, in Syria, Adonis, in Italy, Bacchus, in Persia, Mithras. Fundamentally all these godmen are the same mythical being.

[MN: All the mythical gods are just the same god with different names.

Different parts of the world merged their God with attributes of familiar gods from differnet lands. Then they gave this god a new name, just for their civilization.

A

The same thing happened with Christianity. The Gnostics merged attributes from foreign gods into the newly invented Christian god.

All the old school mythical gods were theological constructs of what a god was supposed to look and act like.

Problem was, different factions were in disagreement about the Christian God being a myth or a for real literal god.

The Gnostics wrote the synoptic gospels, many (over 100 gospels) biographies of Jesus, many acts of apostles and even Revelations. They wrote all of these with the understanding it was all fictional, and none of it true. However, the literal Gnostics crowbarred the firm beliefs that everything was true. You die and go to hell or heaven, with a purgatory waiting room to hang out until you were granted access. ]

From the 5th century BCE philosophers such as Xenophanes and Empedocles had ridiculed taking the stories of the gods and goddesses literally. They viewed them as allegories of human spiritual experience.

On the face of it they look very different, yet these are essentially the same story. Similarly, the tales told about the godmen of the Pagan Mysteries are essentially the same, although they take different forms.

Q
  1. The stories of Osiris-Dionysus became obvious they had the same stories in a different setting. Much like Romeo and Juliet and West Side Story being the same, but a different setting and names.

[MN: This has happened with every main line religion of today. The ancient story has been renamed and repurposed!

Here are a few similarities found on page 5:

Was god made flesh. The Savior and son of God.

His father is god and his mother is a mortal virgin.

He is born in a cave or cowshed on December 25th.

He offers his followers to be born again.

Turns water into wine as his very first miracle.

Rides a donkey triumphantly into town with people waving and dropping palm leaves before him in his path.

Dies at Eastertime.

A

Descends to hell for three days then ascends to heaven 40 days later.

His followers await his return.

His death and resurrection are celebrated by bread and wine, which symbolize his body and blood.]

[MN: Why is this not common knowledge? Because the Catholic church destroyed all found evidence in the book burnings of the dark ages. 700 years of cover up!]

The writers of the first few centuries CE bitterly complained about these similarities between the new Christian religion and the ancient Mysteries, but by Roman law they were quickly silenced! p. 9.

In addition to this outrage, the early Christian church fabricated a whopper of a coverup story saying the devil wrote the early pagan similar stories to confuse the early Christians into thinking these stories were the work of the devil to discredit Christian stories.

They wanted people to believe that the devil wrote these early pagan religious stories and indeed the early pagan religions never existed!

Q
  1. But the truth is that the pagan religions were mysterious and they did exist. And the Christian church people were worried the early Christians would realize that the Christian religion was ripped off from the pagan beliefs.//To make Christianity more acceptable, popular motifs from Pagan mythology became grafted into the biography of Jesus. Things like virgin birth, born on Dec. 25th, healing sick and raising the dead. Basically they copied and incorporated all the good attributes of popular pagan gods into the Jesus Bio.

The Gnostics//The Gnostics were the early Christians. Recall they wrote over 100 gospels and revelations. The Gnostics were basically of two divisions.//The Gnostic Christian knew and believed from the very start that Christianity was a rewrite of the top Pagan religions and it was renamed Christianity. The Gnostics also knew from the start that the religion and gospels etc were all fiction and allegories whose purpose was to gain traction with the new Christian Religion. The Gnostic Literalists, were the other main division and they fully believed the gospels were true and that Jesus was the real savior. They paid no attention at all that it was a copy and paste job from all the popular pagan religions of ancient days. The Gnostic literalist became the Catholic church we have today.

A

[MN: (My Note) This caused a war of sorts and tons of fights and arguments that took over 400 years to end. It never was resolved, but after 400 years the largest church pulled rank of sorts and published the new testament. These were the Gnostic Literalists.]//[MN: Most of the Gnostic Christians’ writings were destroyed during the 700 years of Dark Ages by the Catholic church in book burnings. Only a handful of original Gnostic texts survived.]//In 1945, an Arab peasant stumbled upon a whole library of Gnostic gospels hidden in a cave near Nag Hammandi in Egypt. This gave scholars access to many texts which were in wide circulation among early Christians, but which were deliberately excluded from the canon of the New Testament.//Gnostics were not concerned with the historical Jesus. They viewed the Jesus myths of Osiris-Dionysus–as an allegory that encoded secret mystical teachings.

It is thought that initiates of the Jewish Mysteries had adapted the symbolism of the Osiris-Dionysus myths into a myth of their own, the hero of which was the Jewish dying and resurrecting godman Jesus. //If this is so, then the Jesus story was not a biography at all but a consciously crafted vehicle for encoded spiritual teachings created by Jewish Gnostics.

Next. The great cover up!

4. The Great Cover up

[MN: Here it is. The story of repurposing and the cover up including Constantine killing wife and son returning from Nicaea.//Ref: P. 10//Eusebius who, at the beginning of the fourth century, compiled from legends, fabrications, and his own imagination the only early history of Christianity that still exists today. All subsequent histories have been forced to base themselves on Eusebius’ dubious claims, because there has been little other information to draw on. All those with a different perspective on Christianity were branded as heretics and eradicated. In this way falsehoods compiled in the fourth century have come down to us as established facts.

Eusebius was employed by the Roman Emperor Constantine, who made Christianity the state religion of the Empire and gave literalist Christianity the power it needed to begin the final eradication of Paganism and Gnosticism.

Constantine wanted “one God, one religion” to consolidate his claim of “one Empire, one Emperor.” He oversaw the creation of the Nicene creed–the article of faith repeated in churches to this day–and Christians who refused to assent to this creed were banished from the Empire or otherwise silenced. This “Christian” Emperor then returned home from Nicaea and had his wife suffocated and his son murdered.]

A

In these days there were forged documents and false identities, of letters that had been edited and added to, and of the wholesale destruction of historical evidence. //We found that the history of Christianity bequeathed to us by the Roman Church was a gross distortion of the truth.

The Gnostics were indeed the original Christians and their mysticism had been hijacked by the Roman Empire and a new dogmatic religion started. This would be the literalists, which today is the Catholic/Christian church. The Roman Empire supported the literalist Christians and brutally enforced the greatest cover up in history. P. 10.//”It is the winners who write history”//”History is indeed written by the victors.” P. 11.//The Roman Church created a history of the triumph of Literalist Christianity. P. 11.//Chapter 2: The Pagan Mysteries**//[MN: Reading this book along with many other early Christian histories, **I see the very same theme in all of my readings. They all say the same thing. //Today we have millions of Gods, thousands of Saviors and many, many religions around the world. They have all formed or synthesized their own Gods out of Mythological Gods and Deities of Ancient history and ancient beliefs. //The strategy is, if it worked well in ancient days, it should work well today in convincing people their God is real.]

Q
  1. In antiquity the word mythos did not mean something “untrue,” as it does for us today. Superficially a myth was an entertaining story, but to the initiated it was a sacred code that contained profound spiritual teachings. //Celebrations of mythical death and resurrections were very popular for many centuries before Jesus Christ came into the picture. P. 21.//Five centuries before the birth of Christ, the Greek historian Herodotus discovered this when he traveled to Egypt. On the shore of a sacred lake in the Nile delta he witnessed an enormous festival, held every year, in which the Egyptians performed a dramatic spectacle before “tens of thousands of men and women,” representing the death and resurrection of Osiris. //Herodotus was an initiate (a member of Gnostic Christianity) of the Greek Mysteries and recognized that what he calls “The Passion of Osiris” was the very same drama that initiates saw enacted before them at Eleusis as the Passion of Dionysus. The Egyptian myth of Osiris is the primal myth of the Mystery godman and reaches back to prehistory. His story is so ancient that it can be found in pyramid texts written over 4,500 years ago! //[MN: It is the first evidence of the passion story and all ensuing religions have recopied it to the present age! First about Sirius then about Dionysus. 4,500 years ago is 2,500 BCE]
A

Pythagoras spent 22 years in the temples of Egypt, becoming an initiate of the ancient Egyptian Mysteries.

Inspired by Pythagoras, his disciples created a Greek Mystery religion modeled on the Egyptian Mysteries. They took the indigenous wine god Dionysus and transformed him into a Greek version of the mighty Egyptian Osiris, godman of the Mysteries. //Within a few generations the Egyptian Mysteries of Osiris, now the Mysteries of Dionysus, inspired the glory of Classical Athens.

In the same way that Osiris was synthesized by the Greeks with their indigenous god Dionysus to create the Greek Mysteries, other Mediterranean cultures also transformed one of their indigenous deities into the dying and resurrecting Mystery godman.

So, the deity who was known as Osiris in Egypt and became Dionysus in Greece was called Attis in Asia Minor, Adonis in Syria, Bacchus in Italy, Mithras in Persia, and so on. His forms were many, but essentially he was the same figure, whose collective identity was referred to as Osiris-Dionysus.

Because the ancients recognized that all the various Mystery godmen were essentially the same mythical being, elements from different myths and rites were continually combined and recombined to create new forms of the Mysteries.

This is why I always was puzzled why the Christian Bible was a copy and paste operation made from events that happened in Greek mythology. Reference P. 27]

These are the key motifs that characterize the myths of all the Mystery godman. What Budge writes of Osiris could equally be said of Dionysus, Attis, Adonis, Mithras and the rest. It also describes the Jewish dying and resurrecting godman Jesus Christ. Like Osiris-Dionysus, he is also God incarnate and God of the Resurrection. He also promises his followers spiritual rebirth through sharing in his divine Passion.

[MN: This influenced and shaped what we have inherited as the biography of Jesus? P. 26.]

6. Chapter 3

  1. The Pagan philosopher and satirist Celsius, circa 177 CE, criticized Christians for trying to pass off the Jesus story as a new revelation when it was actually an inferior imitation of Pagan myths.

The early Christians were painfully aware of this problem, so their solution was to come up with an explanation, the Church fathers resorted to one of the most absurd theories ever advanced. From the time of Justin Martyr in the second century onward, they declared that the Devil had plagiarized Christianity by anticipation in order to lead people astray!

[MN: What a crock of shit. Yet, this is no doubt in recorded history of the early Christian Church.]It continues. Knowing that the true Son of God was literally to come and walk the Earth, the Devil had copied the story of his life in advance of it happening and created the myths of Osiris-Dionysus! [MN: That is a whopper of a lie!] P. 27.

A

Although no single Pagan myth completely parallels the story of Jesus, the mythic motifs that make up the story of the Jewish godman had already existed for centuries in the various stories told of Osiris-Dionysus and his greaest prophets.

Let’s make a journey through the bio of Jesus and explore some of these extraordinary similarities.

Son of God.//Dionysus is the son of Zeus. Jesus is very god of very god. Dionysus is Lord God of God born.

[MN: You can see how the Jesus Bio was synthesized from the most popular mythical gods.]

Dionysus was also known as Bacchus, hence the title of Euripides’ play the Bacchae, in which Dionysus is the central character. {MN: Bacchae is the Passion play performed for centuries before Jesus arrived. Many direct quotes from this play are today gospel scriptures in the Bible.]

In Greece, Dionysus is born of a mortal virgin, Semele, who is impregnated by one of Zeus’s’ lightning bolts.

In the non-canonical text of early Christianity, Jesus spent only seven months in Mary’s womb. The Pagan historian Diodorus relates that Dionysus’ mother Semele likewise was said to have also a seven month pregnancy. Justin Martyr, (2nd century theology expert, also a Catholic saint) writes, “in saying that the Word was born for us without sexual union as Jesus Christ our teacher, we introduce nothing beyond what is said of those called the Sons of Zeus.”

Q
  1. P. 29.//In Egypt, every Pharaoh had to be the Son of God and a human mother in order that he should be the Incarnate God, the giver of fertility to his country and people.//Julius Caesar was hailed as God made manifest, the common savior of human life. His successor, Augustus, was likewise the savior of the universal human race. and even Nero is addressed on an altar piece as God the deliverer forever. P. 29.

The birth of Osiris a voice was said to have proclaimed: The Lord of all the Earth is born. An ancient Egyptian hymn proclaims “Thou divine man-child, King of the Earth, Prince of the Underworld.” Even the Christmas carol “Oh come all ye faithful” has the chorus “O come and adore Him!” is in recorded history of Egypt.

Dionysus was born in an ox stall in a cave. Jesus was also born in a cave, the manger was inside the cave. (See the note for lengthily details on page 32).

The Persian Godman Mithras was born in a cave. Zeus was born in a cave in Crete.

Baby Jesus visited by three wise men and three shepherds The wise men are actually called the Magi. The Magi were followers of the Persian Mystery Godman Mithras. His birthday is on December 25 also. Mithras’ birth was said to have been witnessed by three shepherds.//The Magi bring Jesus gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

A

The Pagan sage Empedocles speaks of worshiping God with offerings of unmixed myrrh and frankincense. Myrrh was used as the sacred incense during the festival of Adonis. The three wise men are guided by an Eastern Star to find Jesus. The mysteries of Adonis in ancient Antioch were celebrated by cries that the Star of Salvation has dawned in the East. This was the morning Star.

St. Epephanius tells us that in Alexandria the birth of Osiris-Dionysus as Aion was celebrated on January 6th. [MN: Now a holy day for the Catholic Church, the birthday of Osiris-Dionysus, the Egyptian Sun God.]

SAPIENS CARD #1

  1. 2.5 MYA Animals much like modern humans first appeared. p3//Like it or not, we are members of a large and particularly noisy family called the great apes. Our closest living relatives include chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans. Just 6 MYA a single female ape had two daughters. One became the ancestor of all chimpanzees, the other is our own grandmother. p5//Homo Sapiens first evolved from some earlier type of humans, but most scientists agree that by 150,000 years ago, East Africa was populated by Sapiens that looked just like us. p14

Neanderthals made their exit roughly 30,000 years ago. p18//It’s relatively easy to agree that only Homo sapiens can speak about things that don’t really exist. You could never convince a monkey to give you a banana by promising him limitless bananas after death in monkey heaven! p24//Churches are rooted in common religious myths. Two Catholics who have never met can go together on a crusade to build a hospital because they both believe that God was incarnated in human flesh. //Yet none of these things exists outside the stories that people invent and tell one another. There are no gods in the universe, no nations, no money, no human rights, no laws, and no justice outside the common imagination of human beings. p27 Lawyers call this “Legal Fiction”.

A

Corporations are a collective legal fiction.

Using ordinary wine and bread, the priest says Hoc est corpus meum! Latin for this is my body and hocus pocus, the bread turned into Christ’s flesh and the wine turned into Christ’s Blood. This is documented for the French Cures. p 30

Psychologist call this magic, “Transubstanciation”

MN: [This shows Theology used legal fiction to create church dogma, traditions and creeds (Nicean Creed) to create the beliefs they hold sacred today.

They made their mythical stories come to life and to this day pass them off as absolute facts. They took fiction and made it a believed truth for billions of people. All religions did this same “hocus pocus” trick of making myths real.

Next they brainwashed all future generations so generations of the future would believe it was the absolute truth, just like Santa Claus or the tooth fairy to all the small children. So the children grow up and use this confirmation bias brainwashing on all future generations. p30

  1. The Catholic Church has survived for centuries, not by passing on a ‘celibacy gene’ from one pope to the next, but by passing on the stories of the New Testament and of Catholic canon law. p33//Thanks to their ability to invent fiction, Sapiens create more and more complex games, which each generation develops and elaborates even further. p38//”Religious mythologies” MN: [I research many religious mythologies, and discovered how they copy desired dogma from alien and ancient religions, into their present day religion. This section explains how legal fictions rule billions of people’s lives. p138

It is even possible to convert sex into salvation, as 15th century prostitutes did when they slept with men for money, which they in turn used to buy indulgences from the Catholic Church. p 179MN: [WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?]

A

(talking about extinct civilizations)

MN: [Like the Neanderthals, they were simple breed out.

This also works for religion. Thousands of cultural religions were merged out and replaced by larger ones, such as Christian and Muslim religions. This explains why these two religions are so enormous!

This is why these religions number in the millions. Also it explains the ignorance of religious history of how did we get to here. Western civilization is a prime example. Today a western person has no doubt that Christianity or Muslim religions are the true religions. They have no idea how these major religions manipulated their ancestors by means of confirmation bias, brainwashing.

Therefore they firmly believe what they have been taught from the crib into adulthood lasting until their death.

Christianity and Muslim religions are empires of today!]

10. Religion the third great unifier.

Religion has been the third great unifier of humankind, alongside money and empires. Since all social orders and hierarchies are imagined, they are all fragile, and the larger the society, the more fragile it is. The crucial historical role of religion has been to give superhuman legitimacy to these fragile structures. Religions assert that our laws are not the result of human caprice, but are ordained by an absolute and supreme authority. This helps place at least some fundamental laws beyond challenge, thereby ensuring social stability. P.210.The scientific revolution has not been a revolution of knowledge. It has been a revolution of ignorance. The great discovery that launched the Scientific Revolution was the discovery that humans do not know the answers to their most important questions. The church always possessed all-encompassing wisdom. It was inconceivable that the Bible, the Quran or the Vedas were missing out on a crucial secret of the universe.

A

[MN: Peasants assumed that Christian tradition held the definitive answer. All he had to do was ask the local priest. If the priest did not know the answer, then it was deemed not important. What happened in the Enlightenment 300 years ago, is that humans discovered that ordinary man can discover and learn new mighty things to improve life on Earth on his own, using his own brain! This used to be unthinkable! People thought God provided any wisdom to be discovered.] P. 252.
