- Doctors and healthcare - there may be people wanting to move TIB
If they are ill they can find a better choice of doctors in the US & have a better quality of life as a lot of Mexican doctors have moved away anyway.

- Issues with gangs and drugs can cause violence TMT
People may feel unsafe and will be pushed away from the country.
7) Pull (Migration from Mexico - USA)
- “Bright lights syndrome” - this is where the Mexicans will be pulled to the USA TIDT
The wide variety of entertainment and opportunities in the cities e.g.) In San Diego there are restaurants, cinemas, things to do at night etc TMT people have the perception and excitement of living better in the city.
8) Pull (Migration from Mexico - USA)
- Better job opportunities e.g.) construction, maids and fruit picking TMT
People will be drawn to these types of jobs as they are always up for offer and people will be interested in moving to get a change of scene.
