Population growth will slow down.

They can invest in their kid’s schooling, food, etc.

They may return to their home country and make use of them there.

It will boost the local economy.

It was known as the ‘brain drain’ which resulted in a skills shortage for jobs etc in Mexico.

They may become dependent on the money being sent home by migrant workers.

The villages & towns will become ghost towns as no one will want to live there. TMT local businesses will close down (e.g) cafes, restaurants and shops.

There will be less pressure on midwives & hospitals.
