councils budgets are put under pressure - costs lots of money.
2) Need for more sheltered housing TMT
high cost, lack of availability, struggling to meet the needs of the elderly.
3) NHS costs are rising TIDT
an increasing for hip replacements, cateract surgeries etc.
4) Issue - a lack of economically active people, not enough cash generated through tax TMT
we put pressure on this bracket because taxes are raised to increase funds TMT people will have less money.
5) People are living for longer, pensions may run out - pension crisis TMT
they have been cut in some companies. The retirement age has increased. TMT people are working for longer, this could have a significant impact on on health + wellbeing. This could also cause increased costs for the NHS.
6) Fewer people for the armed forces, TMT
a country’s defences could be weak.
7) Less babies being born TMT
fewer potential parents for the next generation TMT even less money in the budgets from taxes.
