Primary sex characteristics
refer to changes to the sexual organs themselves (uterus, vagina, penis, and testes)
Secondary sex characteristics
refer to other visible changes that mark adult maturation such as changes in height and body shape.
Obvious Signs (Secondary Sex Characteristics) (female):
Voice deepens, breast development, growing height, pubic hair, armpit hair, wider hips
Not so obvious (Primary Sex Characteristics) (female)
Menstruation, eggs mature

sperm/semen production, testes lower
